the definition of covenant…
According to Merriam-Webster is “a written agreement or promise usually under seal between two or more parties especially for the performance of some action” or “a usually formal, solemn, and binding agreement”… however years ago, covenant meant so much more.
Covenant was meant to convey a relational commitment from one party to the other or both parties to each other. It was a binding oath, that meant something to the covenanted parties, as they entered into relationship. By a covenant you could depend on, rely on and stand on the promises made by that party.

Tennesse Building contractor’s license and gaf factory certification…
In Greene county, there is little to no licensing requirements for roofers. In fact, a contractor can sell a job for up to $25k without any licensing at all.
After passing licensing and financial responsibility requirements in the state of Tennessee, Covenant Roofing & Restoration LLC obtained a building contractor’s license. That being said there is no specific license for roofing offered in our great state. Most states require stringent roofing specific examinations before issuing a roofing license.
In order to have another level of accountability, Covenant roofing became one of less than 5% of roofing contractors to be awarded with a GAF Roofing Contractor certification.
Here in east Tennessee…
We moved out from Colorado to east TN in 2021 and are planted now in Greeneville. Its our desire to bring the expertise and professionalism we have obtained, from roofing in some of the toughest conditions over the last decade, to our new home here in East Tennessee. We have worked through many massive hails storms in Colorado and hurricanes in Louisiana, helping customers get new roofs put on, very often through insurance claims. We are licensed, bonded, insured and excited to bring our services to northeast Tennessee!
